Hello from Florence, KY
All,
I am new to this forum, I just joined today. I have a passion for tropical plants, I drive my wife crazy during the winter because we live in a zone 6. I have plants in 3 of the main rooms of the house and they take up about 3/4 of a two car garage. I really need a greenhouse. I hope to get to know and share with all of you at some point in time. I have a lot of knowledge to share and ten time more to learn than I know. Hope to get to know each of you soon.
Michael

8" by 6", I think. I have one small electric heater, but the GH is on the South side of a shed so the cold North winds are blocked, and it faces the South Sun which keeps it hot in there too.
I caulked up the holes too. It gets hot enough in there during the day that it heats up the soil enough to where they are fine.
Let me put it to you this way...
First year I had a greenhouse, I left EVERYTHING out there all Winter. I only lost MAYBE 4-5 things.
Second year, I decided not to try it and I put stuff inside. I lost at least 15-20 trees from the dry furnace and not enough sun light.
So they all stay out in the GH now year round.
