First off I would recomend Robert Chumley over ANYBODY else. He is the best.
If your odereing thou. you MUST call him as he is a joy to speak to and will give you TONS of knowledge.
My suggestions are Taitungensis & Nova Wilailik.

Welcome to the forum!

And don't forget to get a Dioon Spinulosum, you'll be glad you did!
Stunning bluish waxy foliage.

Congrats on getting your zamia l. to sprout!

Thank you, I will probably order this monday.
Also, a sago I got at walmart has a root growing vertical. Is this a
sign of a pup?

No, that is not a pup. You can cut it off if you want, but I usually just dig a hole next under it, then push it down in the hole and cover it up.

CF,
A root growing vertically, maybe a small frond emerging?
What color is it? ( Sago roots are white, sometimes they will form nodules just below or at the soil surface)

I've been delayed, I consider everything for a long time. E. ferox and ceratozamia latifolia look so tempting. Any experiences with them? But I got an (overpriced) Z. furfuracea at safeway

What luck did you have with your Sago, Cycadfreak? Good find at Safeway.

Sorry, tons of drama (NOT GOING INTO IT). A major factor in my decision. How big are the smalls and mediums? How long does it take E. ferox, C. Latifolia, D. Spinulosum, and C. Wilailak to flush after ordering from Chumley?

Didn't mention z. Furfuracea was starting a flush. No progress. Nothing new with the King Sago.

If I were you I would either e-mail or call him. He is very knowledgable and has great cycads.

Sorry, Looooooooooooooooooooong time between posts. (Is that a record? ) Just got a great revoluta from home depot. 7 inch trunk, full size leaves. They had another one with pups, but I couldn't afford 2, and it was sort of off the deep end as far as health.
