A little late, but not unusual due to only a few hot sunny days.

It certainly looks different than last year's flush...strange.

Think a majority of Dioon edule will end up with a bronze emergent color, about 50% of the ones here are doing this now.

All of mine are still seedlings, maybe someone with larger plants would comment?



This one just started on a new frond, it's going to be a little larger than the previous ones :D

Wonderful color on that!

What a robust little guy...makes last year's stems resemble toothpicks.
