Its interesting Steve - I think yours germinated before mine did! They are
coming along now, though....

Dave,
The difference fresh seed can make 8)

One thing I have been trying is heated soaks to break dormancy/initiate germination.
As an example, with seeds that are primarily dispersed by Avian vector, they will get a 38C soak for 12 - 18 hours.

There is probably too many variables to say if this is effective, but I have noticed germination times dropping.

Steve, nice these are one of my favorites. I guess it's because there easy to grow indoors. Yet, I don't have any. Maybe once it warms up and they grow out we can arange a trade? :D

Dean,

With high temps above 85*, they stay on the moist side. Below that, I start letting the top 1" of soil dry out a bit between watering's.

Here is one found at Lowes about 1 1/2 years ago.
Was marked as tropical foliage in a .5 gallon container, forgot about it until I was rearranging the GH. :lol:
