Identification of Trachycarpus with greyish leaves

:?: This Trachy was found in long rows of fortunei palms in the US. I requested that one because it had the small formed leaf like wagnerianus and was not droopy like fortunei palms. It's leaf undersides are greyish but some leaves also have this on the top. The fortunei palms had deeply divided (and droopy) leaflets. Why would this one turn out so different or was it misplaced? Or is it just being unusual? It is now on Vancouver Island.
