OK, I am a HUGE fan of ole-time sit coms from when I was a kid, Golden Girls (cause it reminds me of Florida), Gilligan's Island, Cheers, Alice, etc. However one of my ALL TIME Favorites is WKRP in Cincinnati.
I just like how it was set in Cincy and the show REALLY makes you feel like the show is actually IN Cincy. The settings with the Reds and Bengals stuff on the walls and stuff. The directors really make it out to REALLY be in Cincy.
SO I am watching and it is the episode where the tv show "Real Families" comes to show the Tarlics (Herb's family) and how they spend there days.
Well Herb wants them to believe he is going to church and wants the TV camaras to stop filming. However the camaras follow the Tarlics to church while still filming. Herb tries to lose them and goes speeding thru the streets. As I am watching and laughing, I see something.....I need to rewind it (have it on DVR). WHAT THE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UH!!!!!!!!!! NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!! It is a Canary Island Date Palm that is about 20' in the driveway of one of the houses they zoom by!
