Plants Delight Nurseries

Post by Wes North Van » Wed Jan 02, 2008 11:13 am

Has anyone bought from Plants Delight?
How was the service and was the quality of plants good?

I am thinking about ordering some yucca rostrata blue form and sabal minor var Loiusiana and rhapidophyllium Hystrix.

They say the are 24 oz size but I am not sure how big they would be, any idea?

Thanks for your help.

I have ordered from them and I would again.
Their stuff IS on the small side thou, but REALLY healthy. The Hystrix I got from them when I got it had about a 4" tall "trunk" that was about as round as a Quarter. It is still alive, althou not sure how long as I bought it not knowing how slow they were, so I planted it outside with no protection.
I also got two Fortunei that were both about that size too.
They are REALLY freindly folks that give you healthy stuff, just a lil on the small side.

Have you checked how long it will take for UPS to get the order across the border?

Expedited shipping and the $75 P. cert. sure will add to the cost.

They do offer quite a variety of Sabals.

They sell very good quality plants but they are small as mentioned above. The SE Palm Society meeting was there in the summer (I couldn't go that day).

There were photos of the plants online but it was posted on a boardhost forum so the posts have fallen off.
