Look out for falling Cucumbers.......

Post by Knnn » Fri Sep 07, 2007 8:43 am

I should have paid better attention to the vegetable garden this year :)

The Cucumber vine has started climbing the trees, ( you can see some leaves peeking out in the middle of the picture)

Going to have to get my ladder out for harvest this year.....lol

You've got Master Gardener in your blood, Steve.
I have never seen cucumber so long that it climbs up a tree  :D
Outstanding!

You must have THE most fertile soil!

Good old Kansas soil and the pine needle mulch seems to be to their liking. These all self seeded from last year, so I didn’t notice them right away, ( That's the excuse I'm sticking with :)
