Hoping to do both, ideally another 12' X 12' at least 12' tall, and another section with a 250 gallon pond for the Nypa.

Have just about enough materials to get started, these 100* days have got to go before I do anything :)

thats huge. how does jealousy look on me? I keep trying to dream up some way to do a greenhouse of some kind. Our HOA is pain in the a$$. 144 sq feet of tropical paradise in your backyard, that wouldn't suck. good luck building the addition. Looks like like the weather might break this weekend.

The storms that came through last night just about cleared that rack off !
no real damage , and we needed the rain this time.
The Bananas are getting a little tattered, think it has been a month since I've seen a leaf fully open before being torn off by the wind. They keep growing, and growing , think I'm going to need a dolly to move the one this Fall :)

sorry to hear about your mess. Oh well, it will keep you out of troule for the day. they were calling for rain and storms here in KC, I was watching the radar on TV and they just fizzled out before we got any rain where I live. We can do without the high winds and hail, but the rain we like. Maybe another day. Spent all day Saturday in the yard, it looks good.

with the heat we've had the last 3 weeks, I take it easy when Im working outside. Drink lots of water and take breaks. I do like being outside and working the land. Funny thing is, I never see my neighbors outside. The sun comes up and the everyone pulls their shades down and hibernates inside. I get out early , do a few hours of playing in the dirt, take a nap in the afternoon and I'm ready to go out at night. what a life.

Green House

Post by Dean W. » Fri Oct 26, 2007 9:33 am

Steve,

Nice Green House, reminds me of one I used to have. Did you ever finish adding on to it? Looks like you could use a few more plants over there.

Dean, not yet, but I'm glad I put it off...... within the last couple weeks picked up plenty of patio doors and wood framed windows.
These will work out a lot better than single pane storm windows I was planning on using 8)

Takes a little bit of work to separate these and clean them up, but well worth it.

Some more windows, ready to go in.
