Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Very nice garden pics.

Your climate must be very dry to have that many desert plants and have them look so good,

Hi Josef

Your montana is amazing. So big! I never seen a large one like that in Europe, but in Palmhunter in Belgium. Comes from import, right?

I have 3 of them here in Paris, France since 2 years. They are 5 years old, and damn they are very cold resistant and they can manage tons of water during winter. Maybe as hardy as a A. neomexicana or havardiana.

Great choice

Brrrr.... That looks cold, we had snow back in early oct., but has long ago melted. :D

I had a montana for 2-3 years. It did not like wet winters, and not very cold hardy when young. :)

Josef until your snow and cold arrived, your November weather looked so warm/sunny.

You don't ever cover the agaves and young rostratas?
The crowns would stay wet/snow all winter? Or if it's a dry cold is it safer for the crowns?

Spectacular as always Josef.

Hi Barb
All yuccas and some agaves being without protection all winter.
I protected only sensitive plants or new.

All the websites/information always say to protect against any wet in the crown during cold weather.
Yet your pictures seem to dispute that.

Your third photo shows the yucca rostrata? brevifolia? still growing through the snowfall!

Your yuccas are astonishingly beautiful! Now that I own 3 sizes of y.rostrata (seedling to 2nd year to 5 year...the big one), I'm going to grow agaves next. But I doubt I'll find any as beautiful as yours.

First snowfall here today...only 2 cm.

Hi Josef,
How do you like your linearifolia? I was thinking of getting one, and was wondering how they do through cold weather? :)
