After seeing one of my Kings do this and looking at Lucky's last photo of a flushing King (which is about as perfect as a pic as there is. WHAT a great pic!!) I noticed that the old flush seems to slide away from the crown. This makes sense, but I guess I had never noticed that.
Is it a pre cursor to a new flush when the old leafs seem to slide away and down the trunk?
Is this a sign of a flush coming

On it's way....
The leaves it's holding will move away from the crown to make room for new ( this is also part of trunk growth)
