I just planted a new Yucca rostrata. I picked it up for $15.00 from a friend in Victoria. He had another one and I should have got that one to. :D

What is the growth rate like on a yucca rostrata. What helps it grow quicker? Heat, water, fertilizer and what kind?

It seems to be growing quickly with new leaves coming out already. It did not mind being transplanted that is for sure.

I put it in a garden with some succelants, chamaerops humilis and a brahea armata. :sunny:

I think where you have it is a great spot! Give it lots of sun, good draining soil. I don't think you have to give it much fertilizer, it should do good on its own. Give it water untill it starts growing good then just let it be :D
