I am growing musa basjoo, sumatrana, Itinerans and acuminata. Which types are you growing? Also what kind of fertilizer works best for you? Tell us about those monster bananas you have growing. :D

Regards,
Jay

I'm growing Ensete ventricosum (Musa ensete). I was growing basjoo, but it sadly died indoors over the winter... :(

The ventricosum is very beautful though (Red and green leaves), and it grows very fast! :D

I grow a lot of bananas. I have Basjoo, Dwarf Red, Zebrina, Musa lasioscarpa, sikkimensis, Ensete maurellii, Ornata "Hot Pink", Velutina, Laterita, Ornata "Milky Way", Ornata "Red Ruby", Ae Ae, and a few unknowns. They all do well here. I grow them all outdoors excpt the Ae Ae which I keep in the greenhouse.
