The only thing I can say is these are Massive!

Take a peek here ---> http://www.pacsoa.org.au/palms/Corypha/ ... ifera.html

These seeds came as a bonus, so I guess I'll have a go at it 8)

Control growth

Post by Okanagan desert-palms » Sat Apr 07, 2007 8:44 pm

Steve you should be able to control their growth by keeping them root bound for as long as possible. I have wanted to try these so would like to see how you do with them.Keep us posted. How did those W. robusta seeds work out for you I sent?

Controlling growth

Post by Knnn » Sat Apr 07, 2007 10:12 pm

John - Thanks for the advice, will try to get a feel for how sensitive the roots are too.
( Will probably be getting some more of these in & will send some your way when it warms up a little )

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The W.robusta have been quick to germinate & fast growing. Germination started betwee 1-2 weeks and the rest are still catching up. Should be close to 100% when all is done.

Here's a couple W.robusta on their way.

That is one HUGE palm! If I lived in a tropical climate I would definitely want one of those.
