Amorphophallus bulbifer

Germinated seeds, potted up and into the GH ~ will post some photos of their growth.

Good luck with them, Steve. I had a decent sized bulb but it rotted on me. Something about Bob the cat breaking into my cold storage area and pissing in the pot. :oops:

You don't have to be crazy to grow palms in Alberta..... But it helps

Allen ~ I know how "helpful" cats can be. My coconut stated this season with one frond after my cat climbed it one night............
Several of my neighbors keep pestering me to grow them flowers - Told them I will have some that should do well inside :wink:

It is a pity that you will have to wait several years before they get the joke!!!!

Don't let them start to bloom inside (your house, that is) as that god awful stink will make your eyes water and your sinuses close up.

Have fun with them as they are truly unique.
