The spainish diggers yuccas are in full bloom everywhere here, about a month early.
I compost are my leaves from the plants that grow right in the same spot, like it would be in a rainforest, which really adds nutrients back into the soil,in which the plant grows.
Spike fertilizes the driveway, which happens to be where his outside cage is!!!
It's under the bamboo groove,he likes it there in the shade.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Aaron,
We've had a lot of rain,so I think that is palying a big part in the early flowering, altho, the ground soil is not all that warm yet.
But my drive thru the country side, has shown the farmers corn has germinated and about 4 to 6 inches tall, and the wheat what little is left from aprils freeze the heads are now starting to golden up just a little, harvest the wheat is usually around the first of July here, will be somewhat early I believe.
