Yucca Aloifolia

Picked up a two foot yucca aloifolia from Maple Leaf Nurseries in West Vancouver today for $12.00.
They have so many great plants.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Wes ... I was in the West Vancouver store just last weekend. A crazy place right in the middle of a residential area. It seems to blend in well with the neighborhood. I wonder how they got zoned for that nursery? Prices seemed better there than here on Vancouver Island, and more of an exotic selection. I resisted and didn't buy anything.

Cheers, Barrie.

Nice find Wes. I was there last summer. I think it's neat blending into a residential area. :)

Hi guys Just got back from Mexico. Palm heaven there.
The West Van store is in a neat area for sure.
Barrie too bad I didn't know you were coming into to town.
Did you get a chance to see the North Van store?
It is larger than the West Van one.
Lots of good stuff there.

Yes I am very dark and I did bring back two species of seeds.
I am soaking them right now.

I have been there twice now and I think it will be an annual thing for me and my wife.

Mexico's great, and one of the few places left that is considered affordable.
Hub and I hated Cancun...too un-Mexican, too much $$$$$.

But Mazatlan was great fun and the people were so friendly we didn't want to leave.

Hope to see pics of what you're sprouting...

We were two hours south of Cancun.
I won't stay in Cancun either but the Mayan Riveria is amazing.
