Milder Winter perhaps

Post by andym » Wed Oct 29, 2014 9:10 am

Just had a look at your Winter forecast and it looks better than last year http://www.livescience.com/48315-mild-w ... pid=558459
Interestingly at the end of this comment under Editors Recommendations is a real time timelapse taken from a Nasa Satellite of the Polar Vortex you endured last Winter Brrrrr.

I'm expecting my Manzanita, Oregon, garden to have a mild winter, at least if the promised El Nino arrives. El nino winters there are often frost-free!

I winter in Oklahoma, where we're expecting a bit colder and wetter than normal.

Sadly, this will be the first winter in many years when I can't get away to Belize for a month. :(

A record-for-the-day low is forecast for Tulsa, Oklahoma, for the morning. Snow on ground.
