Aaron since your climate is dry unlikely if your beautiful yucca plants will obtain any freeze damage. Take care! Love your garden/plants too!

Those pics, wow, sooooooo beautiful

I can't imagine you leaving them behind when you move to your AZ place.
Bring in a backhoe that day.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

I would take what I could. AZ has many strict plant laws and bringing plant into the state is almost always not allowed. :x

AZ has many strict plant laws
So they have "border" checks? :x

Sometimes, if you go through a border check station. I have never seen them say anything about my plants with tags, but if they see a bunch of dug up cactus, get braced

Yeah, because it might grow potatoes in AZ

I simply could NOT leave those plants behind.
But you've got a few years yet to plan it.

great looking plants Aaron! I wish they could take all our precipitation.

Did you notice any damage on the Y. arkansana 'freemanii' x 'reverchonii-thompsoniana' hybrid? If any of the Yuccas I mailed you I think this MAY be the least hardy since the freemanii even gets damage here in mild zone 6b. Hopefully the other genes make it hardier.

I still have it but it did very little last year, hoping is will take off this year. Also I was going to cover it again this winter but never did, I need to check on it tomorrow. :|

I couldn't resist and have bought some Y. brevifolia var. jaegeriana seeds. I always soak seeds before planting and I was more than happy seeing tiny root emerging from the seed. It tripled its size over night:

Aaron, IMO everything looks better than this time last year.
Well done!

J-trees are soooo beautiful.
Did you see Bayfield's post on when he was cleaning out the landscaping at his neighbor's place?
Those J-trees are so tall you can walk under them.

Yours will be huge one day too...eat all your vegetables
Good work on your minimal protection, thank goodness they're all right.

I agree, they all look better this year, but was a bad year on cactus for some reason. And my biggest agave was doing good until all the rain leaked right on top of the crown. :x
