I've had it for.over a year inside, never been outside. After killing two I got it down packed.on how.to keep them alive

So what is the secret? Have had one myself for a number of years but never looks the best and doesn't really grow...just exists. Wouldn't break my heart if it died as it's planted in a really nice pot that I could be using for more exotic palms I have lol, but now it's the principal of the thing to keep it going.

I have alot of Windows and I think that helps out. I don't receive that much sun during the winter, maybe once a week.
But I know that I wait till the dirt is just slightly dry to the touch. I was giving mine too much water. I fertilize with carls Palm food Skye slow release, and I mist the leaves once a day. And I also have a big ceiling fan that I turn on once a day to circulate air. I had it in a different location where it received after noon sun during spring, summer and fall and it was growing more fronds. I think some sun and heat makes them grow better. When they're inside they don't need all that crazy amount of water that websites say. It caused mine too rot

My next frond grew out small...did I under fertilizer it
