I'm going for a hell drive to the London missasaga Toronto region Saturday and Montreal Sunday. any one have some suggestions for a convenient nursery not too far from the main drag in this area? I don't have much time to do so....

Not too far? Try Humber nursery near Toronto, any of the Sheridans are OK and they generally have blue pot palms... I don't know anything near mtl or enroute...

Sorry I didn't see this I was out of the country. For next time theres also Sheridan Nursery in Kitchener (lots of Blue pot Trachy, Chammy, Needle palms) and some more indoorsy stuff. Also Belgian Nursery between Kitchener and Guelph on Hwy 7 mostly indoor palms like Bamboo but some OK priced Xmas palms but their specialty is certainly Cacti they have some gorgeous stuff. There's also Harper's in Ancaster (Hamilton) They quite often have a few things I got a 5.5' Trachy there for $60 last year.
