Once had a 4' W. Robusta that was green upon uncovering cold turkey, within 24hrs it went white (except for the spear). So I'm assuming it was a shock for them to photosynthesis all that in one shot.
I've heard of the 'acclimatization' process, where you slowly introduce the species to more and more daylight as it warms up.
Which is best, uncovering cold turkey during a cloudy spell for a week? or simply,
gradually introducing daylight for a few hours each day for a week or so?
Cheers,
Dan
