Yup, damn November.
Supposed to be lousy for 2 weeks at least.
October was sooooo warm and beautiful (after one week of fog).

And you're still warm with SW flow (envy, envy).

I still need to buy another outdoor extension cord...aaaargh!
And the palm hut carpenter is AWOL :?

Sniff. Sniff.

Hi Kent :D
elevation of the bottom of the snow track?
Bottom is about 1250 ft above sea level.

Guessing the top of the peak is 2250 ft.

Wikipedia knows more about where I live than I do.

Camera batteries are dead, otherwise today's photo would show a skiff of snow at my doorstep

Barb, yes, I know.Much snow - Much COLD. Nothing special - just wheat straw. My Fatsia starts forming inflorescence but was covered. The only palm survived last winter has been put in the pot for overwintering inside. So I have no many exotic plants to be proud for. Sorry for that!

Jim.... this will be a first proper intro to Winter they are expecting Snow showers in some parts of the UK... mainly on high ground and hills. Hopefully I won't see any snow in my area.
Barb... I had to roof the Rostrata because a few leaves were starting to rot.... we have been inundated with rain again and the plant was soaked through, not good before cold weather arrives. Fortunately this week it has been sunnier and windy which has helped dry it out. Yep we get horizontal rain but I am loathe to put extra panels on as this will act as a sail for the wind. The "Tower" stands at 2.6metres tall and in its current form copes with strong winds well :D

We were having an Arctic front last week and 10F @ the airport,
now its 60F @ 11pm and thunderstorms with frequent lightning.

Back to 14F/34F Tuesday?

Not anymore-now they say 37F/57F or we have no clue really!-LOL

I was just thinking of you Igor.
What a winter's blast.

There'll be yucca damage here for sure...no snow on the ground. No snow in forecast.

And even though weather sticker says -11C 12F, my place is more exposed.
My temp -12.2C 10F :lickice:

Stay warm & safe, Igor!
