great garden photos! :D

That Yucca sure looks like a hybrid to me. The true Y. gloriosa will have the bloom start above the leaves and the seed pods will hang like Y. aloifolia. The true Y. recuvifolia will have a bloom start within the leaves and the seed pod will be erect. It's very rare to find the 'true' gloriosa or recurvifolia!

Great looking yuccas.

What a microclimate that walled garden creates...I love that.

Bet a few people are drooling...

Hi Janci,

it's nice to see the Yucca seeds germinating. Yucca seedlings are very hardy when young........at least in my climate. I'm not sure how cold you get in winter. We typically drop to -2F (-19C) in my garden every season. I would plant a few outside starting May 1 or so and protect them from animals. Yuccas grow VERY FAST when in the ground......not very fast in containers. They LOVE full sun and plenty of water in summer. :D

What a lovely place, Janci.
Your garden beds are very well thought out.
Great specimens in there.

Love the Phoenix too!
A very nice one.

I love the European driveways...makes so much more sense than North American "wall to wall" concrete or blacktop.

And, of course, the walled garden is my favorite thing.

Thanks for the photos.
