Trachycarpus princeps

Post by ryan »

I am thinking of ordering some of these seeds and would like to know if any members would be interested in any? These are one of the nicest Trachy species I have seen, but the seeds are $$$. Let me know

:D

Great! Thanks for that source Laaz. Ruud seems like a great guy to deal with.

I have 10 seeds from Rudd in a group order ealier this year. I have had no luck yet but one other person had 50% germination from placing the seeds in the fridge for a couple hours every day. I've been keeping the seeds at 60-64F. That tempature must not be cool enough or too sustained for princeps germination. I'm going to try refridgeration now.

I may order more with you but I'm not sure yet since its a lot of $$$.

I would try placing the seed in the fridge for about 60 - 90 days before trying to germinate them.
