Great looking palms and other exotics! My favorite is T. princeps. I have small seedlings but they don't have silver underside, yet. Is this first season in ground for your Chamaerops humilis var. cerifera?

Beautiful, beautiful.
Princeps and Waggie..hard to decide, but I'm leaning toward Princeps.

It's not nice to pick favs among children

How many leaves has the Washy put out this year?
My two are barely recovered.

The Cerifera have been in for 3 or 4 years, very tough palm even at this size.

Can't really tell with the Washy,it seems to be massing around the growth point for a big burst of growth.

I think given another month of summer temps it will substantially increase its growth over (all so far)this spring.

It was likely waiting for last year's March heat...
Please post some pics as it explodes into growth.

My Trachy is "massing" too, with 4 or 5 spears coming up at once.

May 19th Washy (cat) pic & June 27 pic.

I think the growth burst is starting...maybe 4 new leaves so far

<a href="http://s297.photobucket.com/user/orbea6 ... 4.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm22 ... 24d9f4.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 100_6685_zpscb24d9f4.jpg"/></a>

Heres a bonus pic of the Thai giant-back for another show this year! :D

The leaf facing us is 28" and growing with a new one opened...it is also
going to flower so it should be able to increase its leaf size as it is still early
in the season with plenty of warm/hot weather left.

Maybe I will get a leaf over 4' this year if the weather is kind to it.

Picture from early morning as the sun shines on the Tricho, can you see
the color difference at the top where it is pushing new growth?
This thing has sucked up some serious water from close to 15"
of water the last 2 months...Drought busting rains are cactus busting rains.

Holy cow, look at that Washy growth!!!!! it's sooooooo beautiful, Jim.
Leaves look huge.

And you are the most successful "spear pull" recovery guy anywhere!!!

That drought-bustin rain certainly isn't doing the cactus any harm.

Great new pics, love 'em.
And thanks for adding C to your weather sticker. How thoughtful! :D
