Found a place to buy a yucca elata

Post by cuja1 » Sun Jun 16, 2013 7:07 pm

After unsuccessfully trying to grow y. elata from seed, I looked on the internet and found that Monrovia sells Y. Elata, but they don't sell them directly. So I found a nursery that sells monrovia plants and they were able to order it for me. It cost about $50 for a 5 gallon y. elata. So if anyone is desperately trying to find y. elatas that aren't seed sized, that's one route you can take.

But of course Tim! O.k. it doesn't have a trunk but its still way bigger than the y. rostrata I got from High Country Gardens.

It also has branched already, Don't know if you can tell from the picture.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.
