Pics_ my travel from 43° to 53°
It was extremely busy week.... Our partners from the States and the UK were visiting Kazakhstan... Had a chance taking a few pics with a bad quality camera. Sorry for quality but there some ideas about Kazakhstan landscapes.
We started from the Almaty region. Unfortunately I had no time taking pics during our visit the dessert area. But the high mountains at the South and the Steppe at the North are represented on my "presentation".
I took my partners to the Almaty lake which is located at the altitude 2800 m above sea level. We have been climbed (driven) up to 3000 m where my buddies had a chance seeing the last year snow.
Slowly driving up to the lake (2000m)
The Almaty lake
At 3000 m
On Wednesday we left to the north part of Kazakhstan (1200 km north of my city). This is a flat steepen country with a few brilliant hilly areas which both presented to be posted below:
Kazakh Great Steppe:
The Abrak (French Cattale Breed) Cattle
Here we are... Very friendly beef cattle breed:
The Scottish Angus is different (at the background):
The Angus breed bulls:
A real treasure of the North Kazakhstan is so called the Burabai area. It is a hilly area with unique rocks and lakes:
Thanks for watching...

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Thanks everyone for watching!
Borat made a very nice ad to Kazakhstan shooting the movie in Romania! At least people overseas have became familiar with a word "Kazakhstan". My business partners from the States and from the UK found this country opposite to things they thought before their trip to here. They were surprised very much finding the vague meet at the price 400 $ per kilo in the supermarket.
Yes, Jesse. The mountain pictures definitely reminds the Rockies while north located Burabai area - the Superior lake landscapes.
The lake which looks like a law water is a natural reservoir using for my city drinkable water supply. A maximum level of the lake is usually to be achieved by August. The glaciers have'n been starting melting yet.
