Planted this one as a 15 gallon in 2010.

would be good ones to get seed from since Im sure they have seen some low temps up there

Sometimes palms will flower right before they die :( :lol: :wink:

great job! Perhaps next year both will bloom and you'll get to harvest your own seed.......assuming they will ripen before your arctic blasts come. 8)

Jim,

If it dies I'm coming to Iowa and digging up all your trachys in the cover of night. ;)

It's healthy and growing -- spear has pushed almost 6 inches so far this year. Hopefully next year the other one does bloom and I do get seed. That would be mega awesome! :twisted:
