Signs of spring after a harsh winter

Post by yuccaman » Wed Mar 28, 2007 4:14 am

It was not always harsh but in december and parts of january it was very warm.

In late winter we got hit by every possible type of precipation, also every storm
I could think of. (some were extremly severe)

But now I very happy :D We hit 20.2C and made my tulips sprout
faster and they are getting quite big.

Very nice. Yours are well ahead of mine, which have the first nodules breaking ground.

You don't have to be crazy to grow palms in Alberta..... But it helps

:P They got 4 inches. But it was almost gone by noon.

We got rain and snow mixed, but ended up with about 1/8 " of ice which still hasn't melted in fully shaded areas. :(
