My palm trades and F1s

This was the Butia I got in a trade in April 2011. I planted one outside and is still out there and one in a pot with only five leaves

And some of my Butia capitata seeds finally germinated in summer of 2012. Sown February 13 2011. This is them now:

And lastly my latest receipt from a trade straight from Texas... Sabal palmetto. One of two. The other dried and spear pulled. But this looks good. Pic taken today and was received received dec 31 2012 in the mail. Other still potted too I know those they hate root disturbance and they were shipped bareroot.

Is that first one the F1 Butia eriospatha x Syagrus glaucescens?

Igor, excellent! I had forgotten... I gave Igor a couple of my baby Butias this November when he visited Niagara I am happy they are doing well Igor. : )

Sabal have amazing root systems,I had one break out of a plastic cottage cheese
contain it was growing in-the subterranean trunk looked like a spinal cord.
