What seeds are you starting this winter?
Just ordered these small packets from RPS:
Chamaerops humilis var. cerifera, Nannorrhops arabica (Silver), Nannorrhops ritchieana.
Plus my old nemesis Copernicia hospita.
Each summer I vow to not order any more seeds.
And then the "winter disease" sets in...gotta start something.
Anybody else with this disease?
Barb

Licuala Ramsyi (already germinated), Dioon edule, Ensete Ventricosum, Needle Palm (Rhapidophyllum) that were sowed last decenber, just noticed spear emergance from the soil, Seabuckthorn (hippophae), peaches, plums and strawberries (later in the year). I might order some maples and one last shot of cycad/palm seeds.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Already started Lycium barbarium and Arbutus unedo already growing a week later after being in the fridge for a year.
Then later, Magnolia ashei, more various yuccas and agaves, Eucalyptus deb., four pawpaw cultivars, Pterocarya fraxinifolia, Entada rheedi, rooting some Dawn redwood cuttings.
I am looking for Gunnera manicata and Xanthosoma robustum seeds or even better, corms!
X. robustum link!:

That xanthosoma is sexy................
I grew some colocasia from seed. Sand like seeds, really small. They do not like to dry out at all, but dont need too much sun. I killed em (colocasia fallax) by letting em dry out.
