Germinate seeds now?
I've got some yucca elata and yucca glauca seeds coming in the mail. I was wandering if it would be ok to germinate them now or is there a better time?

I started my yucca seeds germination providing a very good light in February. The seedlings do very well now.

If the seeds are viable, I see no reason why you shouldn't germinate them now. Just keep them warm, and give plenty of light when first sprouts appear. Yuccas are easy to grow from seed.

I like to start them now, so they can be planted outside next spring.

The bigger the plants are when you put em in the ground, the better odds of survival. I start all my plants early up here
