Hey Aaron,
Sweet ride you have.
![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
I don't have any nice cars anymore. I have a mini van now.
![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
I have managed to keep my bush truck. It rides on 44 inch monster mudder tires. The tires on it now are just to get around the city and then i put the big tires on in the bush for some real fun.
![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
Here's some pics:
And every truck needs the classic skull shifter.
Regards,
Jay

44 inchers....WOW
![Shocked ](./images/smilies/icon_eek.gif)
that is cool
![Cool 8)](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)
I was into trucks and had a 81 toyota with 36.5 mudders, but back then I had a hard time keeping up with the maintenance on it so I sold it and bought a little ford ranger 2wheel drive. I wish I could afford another one
![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
Just talking about it makes me want big truck again.

Toyotas are cool.
![Cool 8)](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)
I had an 82 4x4 that i stuffed a chevy small block into it.
![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
I ended up selling it to a friend. I wish i still had it.
![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
I might have a digital pic of it somewhere. I was really into 4 wheelin years ago but haven't really had the time to go out on the trails. Sure is fun but expensive. And with my yucca, cacti and palm addiction it's hard to find any money for my truck.

I sold my last Muscle car about 12 years ago. It was a plum crazy 1969 Road Runner 440, 4 spd car. Prior to that I owned a 1967 Dodge Dart GT (273 auto), 1968 Dart GTS (340 - 4 spd), 1969 and 1970 Dart Swinger, 1970 Chevelle Malibu, 1971 Dart GT, 1972 Monte Carlo.
My main buggy now is a 1987 Mustang GT Cobra.
Cheers, Barrie.

I used to have a 2000 Nissan Frontier 4x4. It wasn't modified much- mostly skid plates, 6 ply tires.
We took it back into Kakwa Falls (SW of Grande Prairie on the AB/BC border), as well as over Yanks Leap between Barkerville and Likely, BC. While Yanks Leap was an adventure on it's own, the best trip was when we went north of Fort St. James about 600 km(mostly logging and mining road) in the the SE corner of the Spatsui Wilderness Park (sp).
I got rid of it when my knees got so bad that I couldn't get out into the wilderness anymore.

Barrie, sounds like you have had some very cool rides
![Cool 8)](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)
I would have loved to have seen your 1969 Road Runner. I also find it cool that you have owned a few Dodge Darts, I also owned a Dart once and would like to have it back. I always wanted to put a 440 into it, but hard to do when I was younger. The only other cool car I have had was a Cordoba, t-tops, 440mag. the problem with it was hard to find parts and weight, the thing was just to heavy to make a real statement.
Any pics of yopur rides Barrie?

I'll see what I can dig up. Most are hard copies from old type cameras of the day. I may have transfered some pics onto disc. I'm in the proccess of tossing out my scanner, it just up an quit a couple of weeks ago. So until I replace my scanner with a new one, I'll have to see what I have on file or on disc. Stay tuned.
Cheers, LPN.

I only had one muscle car; a 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 convertible. I bought it partially restored with 'chrome in the trunk' in 1983. It had a 383 dropped in with headers and dual exhaust when I bought it. I added electronic ignition, dual Holley 4bbls, a 3/4 race cam and a few other extras. It took me several years to find the correct chrome etc.. Eventually I had it pretty much stock(including the buckets, trim and console) except for the engine and paint(GM medium blue metallic). It was a beautiful car with the same body style that Chrysler switched to for the Charger in 1969 only shorter and lighter. It wouldn't turn worth a damn, or stop for that matter. But it sure pushed you back in the seat when you hit the throttle. I sold it in 1992 when my oldest son turned 15 and started trying to get me to give it to him. I don't think that he has ever forgiven me.
I had a few other sports cars over time- 69 Sunbeam Alpine, 53 MG A, 59 Porsche, and an 85 Fiero. Don't laugh. When I got through with it that 2.8 V6 was fast and the modified WS6 suspension made that car go where you pointed it.

Aaron;
I've got pics of the Coronet and the Fiero as they were bought in the last 30 years. I might be able to find a pic of the Sunbeam. We bought it new just before we got married. We have most of our photos in boxes in the storage room- buried in the corner in the middle of a stack. I'll check with the wife to see if the pics made it into her photo albums which are closer to the front of the piles of boxes.
I don't have pics of the Porsche or the MG A. Both were bought and sold before I met my wife. The Porsche was plain black and the MG A was oxidized rusty red( & a worn out POS). I might find a pic of the 1961 Mercury Econoline pick-up that I had. I didn't get to restoring it by the time that the kids started coming and sold it to get a down payment on our first home.
What year is your Vette? My wife was trying to convince me to get a new white 75 that was still on the lot in the fall of 1975. Before she convinced me, we found out she was pregnant. She still wants one.

For some reason I can't seem to find a lot of the pics I know I have of my old cars. The ones I did find are inferior hard copies and without my scanner I had to improvise. I laid out the pics I did find on my kitchen table and took pics of the pics (sorry, best I could do).
1969 Road Runner - 440 4 spd - Air Grabber - Plum Crazy.
1972 Monte Carlo - 350 auto - black on black - dual exhaust.
... and here's one I forgot I owned, 1977 Aspen R/T - 318 w/rare 4 spd trans (99% where Torqueflight autos)
I'll see if I can find any of the others (mostly Mopar). Cheers, Barrie.

I found pics of my Dodge Darts. Again I had to take a pic of these pics on my kitchen table. Here they are from left to right, top to bottom...
1967 Dodge Dart GT 273 V8 auto.
1968 Dodge Dart GTS 340 4 spd.
1969 Dodge Dart Swinger 318 auto.
1970 Dodge Dart Swinger 318 auto.
1971 Dodge Dart GT 318 auto.
Cheers, Barrie.

After 6 boxes I still haven't found the good pics of the Fiero, the Coronet or the Frontier. I'm posting the ones that I found. We still didn't find the box(es) of pics for 1971 through 1983 so there are no pics of the Sunbeam or the Econoline.
1966 Dodge Coronet 500 Convertible:
1985 Pontiac Fiero
2000 Nissan Frontier

Ya that car was one I liked to call "whiplash smile" ... I'd hard throttle it thru the gears and look across to see my passenger with one of those smiley grins. Tape a $10 bill to the glove box and during the acceleration G forces, you couldn't grab that "saw buck".

This was when we went to look at it. The car looked good except for the paint. My friend was happy about his new ride.
