Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Sweet. Good job Mike. Friday. Yeah, not Thursday. That's me losing track of my days.
Good for you Mike.
P.S. My grapefruit tree is doing great. You mentioned orange or lemon trees. My grapefruit tree has been planted outside for 4 years now, as well as my pomegranate tree. I do protect them with a hoop house over winters. Totally possible for you.
Um, only thing is my grapefruit tree had very heavy dieback at -8.6c when I remembered to turn power back on to our heat source two winters ago. Twelve hours no power, just hope there is no extended blackouts. It grew back very strongly but has never again seen cooler than 4c.

Nice Video. I'm surprised it let me watch it from out of the coutry as I have that problem many times. As for Citrus there is somone on the citrus forums citrus.forumup.org who has citrus planted in ground in Boston MA. He has some hardy mandarins I believe and some other varieties. Aparently he has harvested some fruit. Maybe you can find some more info from him him or others there that can help you acomplish citrus in Montreal.
