Spring fever or what!

Post by TimMAz6 » Mon Mar 19, 2012 8:16 am

I never opened up my pool so early before................most people open their pools up in mid May around here. A clean pool sure feels like summer!

Poncirus trifoliata is showing some bud development........it's suppose to be warm all week.

<img src=http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c309/ ... 5ee6ab.jpg>

One more photo............trunk of my Musa basjoo looks good and feels hard......I just need some growth now!

And you've still got your GH plastic on the frame.

The only warm water around here is the bath.
My pool's got an inch of ice.

Good winter for the new eucs too, that should help the third one recover.

Awesome! Everything is busting into bloom here now. Amazingly early for sure.

Possible All-time record high for march is forecast for Wednesday (over 80F)... Pretty insane as records have been kept since the early 1800's!

Somebody said snow here tonight.
I killed him.

WOW...Tim, I hope you don't get any of this snow headed east. That would cool to have it so nice. :D

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Oh no, Igor.
I'll share my misery soup with you.

At least the big cold is gone Igor.
Have you looked inside your Trachy protection?

Tim, I think so... As I could observe the weather conditions through over Central Asia, Eastern Iran and Afghanistan spring temperature is far below normal there. In many places here mid of February or beginning of March is a time when apricot trees bloom. They don't this year. Unlikely if apricots in my garden will be blooming by the mid of April.
Barb, I checked my palms last weekend. It seems they are OK.

Wow, that's a wonderful jump in temps, Igor.
We managed 13C in the sunshine for an hour mid-afternoon, then a cool wind started again with the arrival of total cloud cover.

My indoor plants are aching to go outside... Me too.
But can't put the coat/boots away yet... :x

Sorry Tim, our postings must've crossed.

Plants know when to back off a bit.
Incredible processes that trigger plant changes!

That Washy will explode this year. :D
