alexander from european palm society has real takil seeds for sale. not nainital,or might be takil.... the real one takil palm!! seeds were picked up in kumaon mountain in elevation between 2400 and 2500 meters above sea level. i will order some. price is 10 euros for 20 seeds,plus shipping costs. he told me to croatia shipping is 3 euros. who wants the real takil palm, now is the chance!! rgds

Takil seeds

I would love to have some takil seeds or plants. I have 2 of what I thought were takil and they even look like takil in appearance. I do not protect them much in winter and they have minimal leaf damage but I would love to compare the 2 species I may have Naintal. I do not think they will send seed or plants to Canada.

we will be in summer 2013, as 28. member of EU. i got many times seeds... from EU...

i got takil seeds 2 days ago. i soaked it in water,and cleaned it up. now need to wait to germinate.

see the spot on the seed. same as in the pic of beccari. germ comes out on side, not in middle as in fortunei.

Those look super fresh they should pop fast......
as to how fast they grow after that,who knows :D

yes. this are the seeds i got from alexander. and i cleaned it, removed skin around the seeds.

These Takils are located near the Kalamuni Pass in India, around 2500 m in altitude.
