really trimmed them back this year so they will take a while to come back.
Whad'ya mean REALLY trimmed them back?
why? ...to get them into winter protection structure?

I knew they'd be spectacular but to get growth like that in one year I'd have to get my septic tank to drain towards my palm... :P

They were over 2 feet taller than last year but instead of
building on to the protection I trimmed them to fit last years.

Ahem.... :shock: wasn't it you who told me not to cut palm fronds until they're totally brown and crunchy, i.e. then all the potassium (from the old leaf) has gone into the palm for its health? :booty:
