What's the species of this cold hardy yucca?

My guess is it's the common Yucca filamentosa.
Great long-lasting plant with gorgeous flowers.

I think it is Yucca recurvifolia, very nice yucca.
Are you in Georgia? Looks like the South East?

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

I should pass on these tough questions about plants I thought I had.

Based solely on the bloom, I'd call that Yucca a Y. gloriosa.
Y. recurvifolia blooms 'should' start within the leaves like this Yucca...photo taken off web.

I prefer to ID the recurvifolia/gloriosa group of Yuccas by the seed pods. Erect=recurvifolia and Pendant=gloriosa.

Hi Igor,
nice Yucca. My guess would be Y. elata but there are forms of Y. glauca which 'look' like Y. elata too. You'll know if it's a 'real' elata in a few years when it has a nice, fat trunk. There are other narrow leaf Yuccas too like angustissima.
Here's my seed grown Y. elata (germinated in 2000)

Thanks Tim for your input! Unfortunately it is not a plant from my garden. There was a request to identify this particular Yucca at one Russian gardening forum.... Unlikely if there is any other Yucca than glauca available in this part of the World. I wished it would be either angustissima or harrimaniae in there but it's not just because people in Russia start thinking different about plants only a few years ago. Most likely it's a glauca....

Looks very much like my angustissima, as soon as it flowers you should tell what yucca it is.
