Yard Photos (Tropicman's)

Post by Knnn » Tue Jul 13, 2010 11:08 am

Stopped by Don's place yesterday, a bit overcast, but grabbed a few photos.

Amazing what he manages to grow in Wichita, KS !
This is just the front & side yards, doesn't include the rest of the jungle and green houses :D

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Wow!
We were in Wichita a couple of weeks ago. Now I wish we had wrangled an invite first.
Tim, I think Wichita is a zone 6, but super windy. --Erik

Mike - He does have some greenhouse space in the back yard, I've no clue how he manages to overwinter everything :D
(the larger bananas probably weigh a good 300lb by now)

Erik - Definitely worth a visit next time you're in Wichita!

Now that's a tropical zone pusher  That is some yard for sure, his green house must be stacked in pretty good come winter time.

I wonder if he dose anything to his crepe myrtle, and what is that big tree flowering behind it?

Glad you posted these Steve.
