Best spring I can ever remember here, since May 22 we have been averaging 66-86 and after yesterday
and today's rain we are approaching 20" since May 10 also a streak of 80+ days since May 22-needless
to say the plants are growing like never before!
With some temps near 100 in the forecast this coming week....
this is a big departure from the last few years!
How has your spring been?
Happy 1st day of summer!

Jim,
our climates are similar. Daily highs in the mid 90soF, overnight lows in the mid 70soF, soil temps about 80oF; abundant rain. (Actually having fungus trouble on some plants!).
Everything growing great. Like to think it will all head into SUMMER in top shape. --Erik
Edit: fixed typo; correction in ALL CAPS

I think you may be a wee bit warmer Erik considering you are a full days drive south of here
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are approaching a foot of rain this month.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yesterday the dewpoint was 86!
I have never seen this before,to give you some idea of the (un)comfort level
this creates,we hit 91 after some afternoon thunderstorms, the heat index was 123(f)!
Usually we see dewpoints this high afew times a summer each year, this year already 9
times this month!
I can see having condensation on a cold beer but with those kind of dewpoints you
might see it on your tea!

We had a really wet spring and now an extremely dry June: very hot and humid as usual, 6 out of 7 days in the 90s this week and lows in the 70's at night, but NO RAIN!!!!!! UGH!
