Not very winter hardy but Tough in the Spring

Post by Alchris » Mon May 15, 2006 5:03 am

Who Knew?

After spending the last part of the winter playing 'I don't want it you take it' with Vancouver over the last playoff spot, The Edmonton Oilers have actually shown that they are Spring Hardy.

I know that it is off topic but I am still in shock. What happened to the Wussess that folded in the first round?

Who Knew?

I am a die hard Canucks fan and very disappointed that they missed the playoffs but I have to admit I am cheering for Edmonton.

Cheers

I was kind of proud of the oilers nuts last night. After driving up and down almost every major thoroughfare, blowing horns, setting off fire works etc. etc. they calmed down and went home.

Except for the thousands that congregated on Whyte Ave. The cops were smart and blocked off the 'Whyte Mile' so that they had the streets to party on. Hardly any fights or arrests and no riot. After midnite the temperature began to drop and most everyone got cold and went home by about 3 AM.

There are going to be a lot of hang overs this morning.
