High Desert Pics

Post by DesertZone » Sun Oct 04, 2009 8:24 pm

Just some pics from around Macky Idaho.
The small trees around the rocks are one of my favorite desert trees "Cercocarpus" they are also known as "mountain mahogany", "false olive" etc.... They are awesome desert landscape trees and give that southwest look. If you are in a place to cold to grow olive trees then they would be a good replacement, but without the messy fruit.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

I keep lookin' for Clint Eastwood on horseback in one of those shots. Wide brim hat and cigarello.
Great shots Aaron ... thanks for posting.

Cheers, Barrie.
