Some more info: http://www.pacsoa.org.au/cycads/Stangeria/eriopus.html

End of the seed that was attached to the cone,

Out of two seeds, one germinated.
(The other was a floater when received, it sank after soaking for a couple days, but all it ended up growing was mold
Just breaking the surface now

Holy cow, Steve, beautiful.
After all your germination methods, is your dry-bath incubator the most successful?

Thanks Barb, Been waiting a couple years for Stangeria seed to be available (at least to where I could afford a couple
For germination, I've been using the converted mini fridge almost exclusively, It provides a nice even temp with no hot spots. (going to try and build a full size one this winter)

Likely a lot more room in the fridge than the dry-bath.
