I thought I would share some updated pictures from around my yard. Things have really gone WILD in the last 2-3 weeks. Here's a overview of the back of my property off the second floor deck. Everything you see is new plantings from this April. The Southern Magnolia is a D.D. Blanchard it should do ok I would think. There was the one on the Cape that I took a picture of.

Here's a closer picture of the washys, they have four foot clear trunks with swollen bottoms. It would be nice if they had any filifera in them! All three of them have nice full heads.

There's two rows of bananas here totaling 9 big ones. They were planted from what I thought was small 5 gallon pots. I counted 55 babies today all sizes. The biggest ones are in the back. The storage container is about 9 feet. Most of you know this but 55 suckers I thought was interesting.
Here's the front of my house where I kinda have a jungle thing going on this year! Everything in front is new except my 3 year old Trachy, which most of you have seen pictures of. This palm has grown so fast this year it's scary, when I planted it the two new trachys where about a foot taller. I remember one of my jerky neighbors said "the one you have been protecting is smallerthen the other ones." Not the case now the old one grew atleast two feet and is pushing 7 feet. Nice to rub that one in when she drives by, just one of those neibghbors.

Here's My first crepe myrtle (Natchez) flowering. I didn't really think it would flower this year, figured it would root in. I was wrong, it has a nice full head!

There's more stuff, but I put up alot of pictures already today.
I have to say that growing these types of trees and plants is sure rewarding in our climate. Watching this stuff grow has really been awsome! As I'm sure it's been the same for you guys. Not that are summer has been really great heat wise. I'm still happy with the growth rates so far. Remember we still have a solid 2-3 months left of good growing!
After that it's time for some serious protection on my end!
Hope you all enjyed the Pictures!
