Needle Palm showing first signs of bloom!!!

Post by BILL MA » Wed Jul 01, 2009 5:00 pm

Hello everyone,
I just noticed today dispite all the cold and rainy weather we have had, a little bulge on the bottom of one of my needle palms. The other two aren't showing signs yet but they don't get as much sun, not like we have really had much. Here's a few pictures of them.

The rest of the palms other than the Trachys are just waiting to explode! That will be a nice sight. The low preasure over N.E. should be away from me late Friday. I think after that I will do a sun and heat dance! :blob6:

Happy Plantings,
Bill

Hopefully you get both male and female flowers! Mine bloomed for the first time this year but each blossom is female.
