Thought it best to start things off with one good neutral post, since I'm sure I'll be plaguing you all with questions on a somewhat regular basis from this point on:) Anyways, I live on a farm in Centerpoint Indiana (zone 6a). I've grown banana plants for the past 4 years, but this year I wanted more of a challenge, and I'm currently waiting on two 3' windmill palms and a 2yr needle palm to arrive any day now. I plan on putting them directly into the ground, with no plans of ever digging them up and putting them inside for the winter. I've been doing a lot of research here, but there's a good chance that I'm in over my head, but only time will tell:) Good to be here!
