Here's a good article i found about yuccas and plants growing in the desert sand dunes. Check out the roots on the y. elatas. :D

That is a good read :)

One of the reasons nursuries don't carry Y. Elata is because their roots get so big. :shock:

Jay good article on the adaptability of Yuccas. I was really surprised by how they survive on the desert sand dunes. They are one tough plant . Although Palms are my favorite Yuccas are gaining ground fast.

Yeah, it's amazing what they can go through. :D I have to say yuccas are my favorite. :)

Yuccas are my favorite also :D I love palms too but I can't grow the big ones here :(
