Dean,

The green house is fine! ( I expected to find some holes in the roof, the hail was coming down hard)

Some more broken fronds on the bigger Palms, all the seedlings seem fine.

I had just cleared a spot under the Cedars, moved all the smaller stuff out there yesterday.
( good timing I guess :D

Hail storm

Post by yuccaman »

We had a thunderstorm on May 31 which produced grape to golf ball sized hail at my house and baseball sized north of us. My car window was damaged. We had storm last night that produced 100
kmh winds.

I hope the worst of the storms miss you! Stuff like that is no fun at all :|

Around here it seems we have been getting hit with something every other day, here is a link to a local television station's photo gallery http://www.kake.com/weather/gallery

(Some photos of that baseball sized hail were posted last week, glad I haven't had any of that :D

Glad you got those seedlings and potted palms sheltered under the cedar before the hail hit, Steve.

It looks good, Steve, not shredded.
Bet it'll bounce back quickly once the weather settles.

Barb,
