windmill palms i need help
i live in the 6b zone and i bought some windmill palms to start growing which i know little about but i did alot of reading when they arrived they looked great after transplant there turning yellow and some of the leaves are splitting i've tried everything and different minerals they need nothing seem to be bringing them back anyone have any suggestions please help jake.
Its usual for them to turn yellow when you transplant them (need to acclimate to the new climate (soil structure, sunlight, wind...)). As long as you didn't plant it too deep, it should be fine.
You can use Potassium Silicate and kelp to help with the transplant. If you feed too much Nitrogen, it can do more harm during the transplant than good.

Check spear
Check new emerging spear at top of trunk. Give it a tug and see if it releases from trunk.
If it pulls, treat for pests and use a copper fungicide in the top.
